Terms of Service / Program Participation Policy

Welcome to the Srividya Foundation. By participating in our programs, courses, and teachings (collectively referred to as “Programs”), you agree to abide by the following Terms of Service / Program Participation Policy. This policy outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and disclaimers applicable to all participants. Please read this document carefully, as it sets forth the conditions for participation in our online spiritual and yogic practices.

1. Nature of Our Programs
Srividya Foundation offers a variety of online Programs that teach ancient spiritual practices, including but not limited to Srividya Sadhana, Dasha Mahavidya Sadhana, Kundalini Sadhana, Dhyana Sadhana (Meditation techniques), Yoga Sadhana (Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga). These practices are rooted in centuries-old traditions that are passed down from Master to disciple and are considered sacred and transformative. As such, our Programs are designed to guide participants on their spiritual journey in a structured and traditional manner.

2. Participant Behavior and Code of Conduct
To ensure a positive and respectful environment for all participants, the following guidelines apply:

Respectful Interaction: Participants are expected to treat fellow participants, facilitators, and teachers with respect and courtesy at all times. Disrespectful, abusive, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the Program without a refund.

Confidentiality: The teachings and techniques shared in our Programs are considered sacred and are intended for personal use only. Participants agree not to share, reproduce, distribute, or teach any of the materials, techniques, or information provided without the express written permission of Srividya Foundation.
Participation: Active participation in all scheduled sessions and assignments is encouraged for maximum benefit. However, participants are responsible for their own engagement and effort in the Program.

Respect for Tradition: Participants are expected to approach the teachings with reverence and respect for the ancient traditions. Any disrespect toward the teachings, facilitators, or fellow participants is strictly prohibited.

3. Rights and Responsibilities

3.1 Participant Rights

Access to Program Materials: Upon successful registration, participants will receive access to Program materials, recordings, and other resources as outlined in the course description.
Support and Guidance: Participants will have the opportunity to seek guidance and support from facilitators and teachers throughout the Program.

Confidential Communication: Participants can reach out to the Foundation or facilitators privately to address any concerns, questions, or challenges they may face during the Program.

3.2 Participant Responsibilities

Adherence to Program Schedule: Participants are expected to follow the Program schedule and complete all assignments or practices as instructed.

Personal Accountability: Participants are responsible for their own physical, mental, and emotional well-being while engaging in the practices. It is important to follow instructions carefully and to practice within your own limits.

Honesty and Integrity: Participants must be honest about their experience level, challenges, and any health conditions that may affect their participation. This information will help facilitators provide the most appropriate guidance.

4. Disclaimer of Guarantees

No Guaranteed Outcomes: The spiritual practices taught by Srividya Foundation are intended to guide participants on their personal journey. However, we do not guarantee any specific outcomes, results, spiritual experiences, or transformations as a result of participating in our Programs. The effectiveness of the practices varies from person to person and depends on individual dedication, consistency, and openness.

No Claims of Healing or Cures: Srividya Foundation’s Programs are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or professional treatment. We do not claim that these practices will heal, cure, or prevent any physical, mental, or emotional conditions. Participants should consult a qualified healthcare professional for any health-related concerns before engaging in our practices.

Personal Responsibility: Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of engaging in the practices. Srividya Foundation shall not be liable for any injuries, discomfort, or adverse effects experienced during or after participation in the Programs.

5. Health and Safety Disclaimer

Consultation with Health Professionals: We recommend that participants consult with a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new spiritual, meditative, or physical practices, especially if they have any pre-existing health conditions, are pregnant, or are taking medication.

Practicing Within Limits: Participants are advised to practice within their own physical, mental, and emotional limits. If you experience discomfort, pain, or adverse effects, please stop the practice immediately and seek medical advice if necessary.

Mental Health Consideration: Some practices may lead to intense emotional experiences. Participants with a history of mental health conditions should proceed with caution and seek guidance from a mental health professional if needed.

6. Intellectual Property Rights and Restrictions on Sharing

All Program materials, including written content, videos, audios, graphics, techniques, and any other educational resources provided, are the exclusive property of Srividya Foundation.
Participants are strictly prohibited from sharing, copying, reproducing, distributing, or using these materials in any form, including but not limited to photocopies, digital copies, videos, audios, or any other means, without the express written consent of Srividya Foundation.

Unauthorized sharing, teaching, or dissemination of Program content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action and/or immediate removal from the Program without a refund.

7. Program Access and Recordings

Participants will receive access to live sessions, recordings, and materials for the duration specified in the Program. Access to Program materials is for personal use only and must not be shared or distributed.

Srividya Foundation reserves the right to record online sessions for internal use, quality assurance, and future program improvements. By participating, you consent to these recordings.

8. Non-Transferable Participation

Program registrations are non-transferable. Participants may not transfer their registration or access to another individual, even if they are unable to complete the Program themselves.

9. Changes to Programs and Terms

Srividya Foundation reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any Program as needed. Participants will be notified of any changes in advance, and options for deferred participation will be provided.

10. Limitation of Liability

Srividya Foundation, its facilitators, teachers, and representatives are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in our Programs. Participants agree to assume full responsibility for their well-being and release Srividya Foundation from any liability.

Under no circumstances shall Srividya Foundation be held liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages resulting from your participation in our Programs, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Force Majeure Clause

Srividya Foundation shall not be liable for any failure to perform or deliver Programs due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, technical disruptions, or government restrictions.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of the United States and the state of Delaware for Srividya Foundation. Any disputes arising from participation in our Programs shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware.

By enrolling in and participating in any Program offered by Srividya Foundation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service / Program Participation Policy, including the restrictions on sharing Program materials.
