Teaching and Practices Policy
Effective Date: 28 September 2024
Srividya Foundation is dedicated to teaching and sharing the ancient wisdom of Yoga, Meditation, Slokas, Sutras, Srividya Sadhana, Dasha Mahavidya Sadhana, Kundalini Sadhana, and other related practices that have their origins in ancient Indian scriptures. These teachings have been passed down through generations, and while they have contributed to the spiritual growth and well-being of countless practitioners, it is important to clearly understand the scope, nature, and limitations of these practices.
This policy aims to provide clarity on the nature of the teachings, the expectations for participants, and the boundaries of what Srividya Foundation can and cannot promise. By engaging with our programs, courses, and practices, you agree to abide by this policy.
1. Nature of Teachings and Practices
The teachings and practices offered by Srividya Foundation draw from ancient spiritual traditions, philosophies, and scriptures such as the Vedas, Upanishads, Tantras, and other sacred texts. Our programs cover a wide range of spiritual practices, including but not limited to:
Yoga: Incorporating Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, and other forms of physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines.
Meditation: Various meditation techniques aimed at calming the mind, increasing awareness, and connecting with one’s inner self.
Slokas and Sutras: Chanting and recitation of sacred texts that are believed to have spiritual and vibrational significance.
Srividya Sadhana: A spiritual practice rooted in the worship of the Divine Feminine, as described in ancient tantric traditions.
Dasha Mahavidya Sadhana: Teachings and practices focused on the ten forms of the Divine Mother, known as the Dasha Mahavidyas.
Kundalini Sadhana: Techniques aimed at awakening the latent spiritual energy within an individual, often referred to as “Kundalini.”
These teachings are intended to facilitate personal growth, self-awareness, and spiritual evolution. However, the results of engaging in these practices vary widely among individuals, depending on factors such as personal effort, dedication, mindset, physical and mental health, and lifestyle.
