This Health and Safety Disclaimer outlines the responsibilities of participants and the limitations of Srividya Foundation’s liability.

1. Voluntary Participation
Participation in any Srividya Foundation program, class, workshop, or event is entirely voluntary. Individuals choosing to engage in our teachings and practices do so at their own discretion and risk.
Participants are encouraged to fully assess their own health, fitness, and comfort levels before participating in any program or activity.

2. Medical Advice and Health Assessment
Consult with a Healthcare Professional: Srividya Foundation recommends that all participants consult with a qualified healthcare professional or medical practitioner before engaging in any of our programs, especially if they:
Have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, or illness.
Are pregnant, nursing, or have recently undergone surgery.
Are taking any medications or have a history of mental health issues.

3. Physical Activities and Risks
Many of the practices taught by Srividya Foundation, such as Yoga, Meditation, Kundalini Sadhana, and other spiritual exercises, may involve physical movement, stretching, breath control, chanting, and postures.
Potential Risks: Participants acknowledge that there may be inherent risks involved in these activities, including but not limited to:
Strains, sprains, or injuries from physical movement
Dizziness, nausea, or shortness of breath during meditation or breathing exercises
Emotional or psychological discomfort during certain practices
Listen to Your Body: Participants are advised to listen to their bodies, take breaks when needed, and refrain from any practice that causes pain, discomfort, or distress.

4. No Guarantees or Warranties
Srividya Foundation does not make any guarantees, warranties, or claims about the effectiveness, outcomes, or benefits of any practice, teaching, or technique offered through our programs.
The experiences and results of engaging in spiritual practices vary greatly among individuals. What works for one person may not work for another, and no specific results or outcomes are promised.

5. Limitation of Liability
No Liability for Injuries or Health Issues: By participating in any Srividya Foundation program, participants agree that Srividya Foundation, its instructors, employees, volunteers, and representatives will not be held liable for any injuries, health issues, or damages resulting from their participation.
Assumption of Risk: Participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with engaging in Srividya Foundation’s practices, whether physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual.
No Medical Treatment or Diagnosis: Srividya Foundation does not offer medical treatment, diagnosis, or therapy. Our programs are for educational and spiritual purposes only.

6. Participation Requirements
Personal Preparedness: Participants are expected to ensure they are physically and mentally prepared for the activities they undertake. If unsure, they should refrain from participating until they have received medical clearance.
Proper Environment: For online programs, participants must ensure they have a safe, clutter-free environment to practice in, and are advised to have a responsible adult nearby in case assistance is needed.

Immediate Reporting: Participants should inform the instructor or program facilitator immediately if they experience any pain, discomfort, dizziness, or distress during a session.
Seeking Medical Attention: If a participant feels unwell or believes they have sustained an injury, they should seek medical attention immediately and discontinue participation in the activity.

8. Online Programs and Safety
For virtual or online sessions, participants are responsible for ensuring their own safety, including choosing a safe space to practice and ensuring that any necessary safety precautions are in place.
Srividya Foundation is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or incidents that occur during participation in online programs.

9. Children and Minors
If minors (individuals under the age of 18) participate in any program, they must do so under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or teacher who has consented to their involvement.
The parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for the minor’s health, safety, and participation in the program.

10. Compliance with Health Guidelines
